South Florida Support Groups

Current groups include an OCD support group for Adults, a member-led OCD support group for adults and family members with OCD, and an OCD support group kids/teens with OCD. Other groups that meet less frequently include our BFRB (body-focused repetitive behavior) group, which is geared towards individuals with trichotillomania (hair-pulling) and dermatillomania (skin-picking).

OCD Support Group for Kids & Teens (17 & younger) – Led by Dr. Seay

• Meets Monthly (specific times/dates vary based on attendee availability)
• Location – (currently meeting over Zoom)
• Open to kids and teens with OCD at any stage of recovery (e.g., recently diagnosed, in treatment, not in treatment). Attendees expected to maintain the confidentiality of other attendees. Professionals must obtain approval from Dr. Seay before attending.

OCD Support Group for Adults (18 & up) – Led by Dr. Seay

• Usually the Second Tuesday of the Month @ 7:00pm
• Location – (currently meeting over Zoom)
• Open to adults with OCD at any stage of recovery (e.g., recently diagnosed, in treatment, not in treatment). Attendees expected to maintain the confidentiality of other attendees. Professionals must obtain approval from Dr. Seay before attending.

South Florida Treatment Groups

Periodically, we offered treatment groups focused on a particular conditions. Recent groups have focused on OCD, social anxiety disorder (social phobia), panic disorder, hoarding, and other conditions.
